In today's episode of the Mission Motherhood Podcast with Caroline J. Sumlin, we're talking about staying content in the seasons we are in while being hopeful and expectant for the next season God has for us.
This episode is a continuation of last week's episode where we talked about having big dreams as a mama and how frustrating it feels to be torn between the two - especially when you're in seasons of motherhood that lessen your capacity to do both motherhood and fulfill your dreams at equal capacity.
It's important to understand that our capacities and circumstances change from season to season. You may be in a season that is particularly challenging. Your circumstances may be causing more stress than you'd like. Your capacities may be more limited in this season of motherhood than the next one. Even this season of COVID is just a season. There WILL be an end to it, even if we don't know when that end is.
So, while we're in these challenging seasons that feel limited or extra difficult, how do we stay content? Can we stay content and be hopeful for the next season at the same time.
Take heart, mama. And tune into today's episode.
